Sharon McDonell is a 7th generation Glengarrian and (mostly) self-taught Painter, who spent 25+ years working in the Canadian Film Industry before returning to Glengarry in 2019.
Sharon grew up on her family’s ancestral farm in Bridegend, Ontario. As a child, she sought adventure by roaming the fields & forests, biking along cow paths, wading in creeks and building complex hay forts.

I’m a mostly self-taught Artist who grew up on our ancestral farm in South Glengarry County, Ontario. As a little kid I drew constantly. When I wasn’t drawing, I was wandered the fields, line fences, forests & local river banks.
